This Privacy Policy explains how SwipeSweep by Maxiteer handles information when you use the SwipeSweep Android app and the SwipeSweep legal website.

What SwipeSweep does

SwipeSweep helps you review photos stored on your Android device, mark photos you may want to delete, keep photos you do not want to delete, review the marked photos, and ask Android to delete selected photos after your confirmation.

Photo and media access

SwipeSweep requests access to photos or media on your device because photo review is the app's core function. Depending on your Android version, the app may request permissions such as photo/media access or external storage read access.

When permission is granted, SwipeSweep may access photo file information needed to show and organize the review experience, including photo URIs, file sizes, and date information available from Android MediaStore. The app also displays photo thumbnails or full images so you can decide what to keep or delete.

No photo upload

SwipeSweep does not upload your photos to a Maxiteer server. Photo review, marking, keeping, bin review, and deletion preparation are handled on your device.

App preferences stored on your device

SwipeSweep stores app preferences locally on your device, including settings such as photo review, swipe hints, dark mode, and default view. These preferences are used to keep the app working the way you choose.

Deletion flow

SwipeSweep does not silently delete protected media. When deletion requires Android confirmation, the app uses the Android system deletion flow. Android may show a confirmation dialog before selected photos are deleted.

Information you send to support

If you contact support by email, Maxiteer receives your email address and any information you include in your message. Support messages are used to respond to your request, troubleshoot issues, and improve the app.

Legal website information

When you visit this website, the hosting provider may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser information, request URL, and access time to deliver the site, protect the service, and maintain logs. Maxiteer does not use this website to create user accounts or collect payment information.

Sharing

Maxiteer does not sell your photos or app preferences. Maxiteer does not share your photos with advertisers. Information may be processed by service providers only when needed to operate services you use, such as website hosting or email support. Maxiteer may also disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

Third-party code and services

The Android app uses Android platform services and app libraries to provide the app experience. SwipeSweep also uses Google AdMob to show banner ads during photo review. AdMob may process advertising identifiers, device information, approximate location derived from network information, app interaction information, and other data as described by Google's advertising and privacy policies.

The app may open third-party services such as Google Play, your email app, or a web browser when you choose support, rating, privacy, or terms actions. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies.

Advertising

SwipeSweep displays banner ads in the photo review flow. Ads are shown in a dedicated sponsored card after a randomized interval of reviewed photos. Maxiteer does not use your photos to choose ads, and SwipeSweep does not send your photos to AdMob.

Security

SwipeSweep is designed to keep photo review on your device and to use Android permission and deletion controls. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but the app limits its handling of photo data to the local app experience described in this policy.

Retention

Photo review state is used while you use the app. Local app preferences remain on your device until you change them, clear app data, or uninstall the app. Support emails may be retained as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain records, and improve support.

Your choices

• You can deny or revoke photo/media permissions in Android settings.
• You can stop using the app at any time.
• You can clear app data or uninstall the app to remove locally stored app preferences from your device.

Children's privacy

SwipeSweep is not directed to children under 13. Maxiteer does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

Maxiteer may update this Privacy Policy as SwipeSweep changes. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.
