Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the SwipeSweep Android app and the SwipeSweep legal website. SwipeSweep is provided by Maxiteer. By using SwipeSweep, you agree to these terms.

Purpose of SwipeSweep

SwipeSweep is a photo review utility. It helps you review photos stored on your Android device, mark photos for deletion, review marked photos before deletion, and request deletion through Android system controls.

Your responsibility for photo decisions

You are responsible for deciding which photos to keep and which photos to delete. You should review selected photos carefully before confirming deletion. SwipeSweep provides tools to assist your review, but it does not decide for you.

Deletion and recovery

When you confirm deletion, Android or your device's gallery system may handle the final deletion process. Deleted photos may not be recoverable. Some devices, Android versions, or gallery apps may offer a trash or recovery period, but SwipeSweep does not control or guarantee recovery.

Permissions

SwipeSweep needs photo or media access to perform its core photo review function. If you deny or revoke required permissions, parts of the app may not work.

Acceptable use

• Use SwipeSweep only for lawful purposes.
• Do not use SwipeSweep to access, alter, or delete photos you do not have the right to manage.
• Do not interfere with, reverse engineer, or misuse the app or website.
• Do not attempt to bypass Android permission or deletion confirmation controls.

Accounts and purchases

The current version of SwipeSweep does not require a SwipeSweep account. If paid features, subscriptions, or purchases are added later, additional terms may apply.

App changes

Maxiteer may update, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of SwipeSweep at any time. Updates may add, modify, or remove features.

Ownership

SwipeSweep, including its app design, text, graphics, software, and branding, is owned by Maxiteer or its licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership of the app or website to you.

Third-party services

SwipeSweep may open or rely on third-party services such as Android system permission dialogs, Android deletion confirmation, Google Play, Google AdMob, your email app, website hosting, or your browser. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies.

Advertising

SwipeSweep may display ads in the photo review flow. Ads are provided by Google AdMob and may be subject to Google's advertising policies and terms. You agree not to manipulate ad display, generate invalid ad interactions, or interfere with ad delivery.

No warranties

SwipeSweep is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maxiteer disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maxiteer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, loss of photos, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill arising from or related to your use of SwipeSweep.

Indemnity

You agree to be responsible for claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of SwipeSweep, your violation of these terms, or your violation of another person's rights.

Termination

You may stop using SwipeSweep at any time. Maxiteer may suspend or stop providing access to SwipeSweep if you violate these terms or if continued access would create legal, security, or operational risk.

Changes to these terms

Maxiteer may update these Terms of Service as SwipeSweep changes. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a new last updated date. Continued use of SwipeSweep after changes means you accept the updated terms.
